Invitations should be going out shortly! We are excited to announce that the wedding will be on October 20, 2007. The locations have not changed, but the details have, a little bit. The wedding will be at 3:30 now instead of 5:30, and the colours are changing... More details soon.

We are changing our wedding plans!  You can un-mark your calendars for the June 30, 2007 date.  Once we set the new date, we will advise as soon as possible.

Our engagement party was last weekend (October 7) and we were thrilled to see everyone who came. Everyone got along great and we're really optimistic about the dynamic at the wedding and at other events coming up. We had some technical difficulties (namely the barbeque that you'd think we bought at Ikea, there were so many pieces) but Ry's fam swooped in and saved the day.

Things are coming along. I found my wedding dress yesterday and next it's on to starting to think about atmosphere - flowers, decorations, djs, and what have you, and to start to think about the invitations (we hope to send them out in December). I've also started collecting things to incorporate into a scrap book so that we can look back on the process as well as the day itself - it's a long road getting there!

While I wait for Ryan to assemble his side of the wedding party, who says the girls can't start having some fun? Check out the "For Bridesmaids" link to the left for information you might like to have!

I've slowly been updating and filling up these pages! Please check out the forum and the polls, as well as pages here and there, such as our About Us page. I've updated some previous postings with better, happier photos, as well. More to come!

Thanks for visiting our brand new wedding site! I can only assume you know us in some way or another, but in case we of many names (in this internet day and age) are confusing to you, here's the rundown of how to identify us:

Melissa: Also known as Lissa (Lis) to some; Mishky to others; and Analae online.

Ryan: Also known as Ry to some; and Ravenkin online.

I hope that's helpful. Anyway, we're slowly going to be adding to this page, and we hope to get a date fixed in the near future - currently it's a tentative summer 2007 date, but when we officially decide we'll post it for all to see. We're (or, I am, as Ry smiles and nods) full of ideas and slowly, slowly, they will get solidified and you can find the details here. Stay tuned :)
